Loudest & Deepest Duals or Slip-on's
Ok, Ok, so this has been brought up several times, I just bouight an 09 RK 96" and debating slip-ons or true duals. I love the Rinehart true duals sound. But everyone says better performance form slip-on's The bike has SERT, Stage I A/C. Please help with opinions, I want a deep loud pipe.

from what i've heard the v&h monster ovals will give you the deepest bass sounding pipes. my boss just put them on his 08 ultra and they sounds really deep and really good. he had v&h reg ovals before and they were louder but not as deep. plus the monster ovals look reallllllllly good, and you can get chrome, black, or chrome with black tips

I would have to say either 2 to 1 with Thunderheader or true duals with Thundercones. They are load and have a very deep rumble. They sound like a Harley supposed too.

i don't understand why people want *the loudest* pipe. strange priority imo, besides, there's always faster gun. someone will always come blazing by with a 120"+ motor and you won't be able to hear yer own 96"
why not just run no pipes, start a trend.

Supertrapp SE slip-ons. Yes, H-D header pipes are already very efficient and optimized, plus they deliver the goods at the low and mid-range where the vast majority of riders spend their time. I've owned many exhaust systems over many years. Many full pipe exhausts sound quite deep and low at idle, but once underway, become blatty/barky, if not hammering loud. The Supertrapp SE's were rated by Hot Bagger magazine as #1. Nice, deep, low rumble, throughout the range. But to be sure, exhaust note opinions are all over the map. Token pic...
Can hear them in this Loveland Pass Video Ride.

I have a 09 RKC, Stage 1 with Rinehart slip-ons. Love the sound, Deep muscle car rumble. I looked into and heard V&H but prefered the Rinehart's by far ( just MHO). I do not think you will be unhappy if you choose them. Good Luck

I also run the SE slip-ons. Most people that have them love them. I think the best thing that was ever said was "The epitome of the Harley sound!" And that was from someone that followed me down 295 for 40 miles. There not the loudest mufflers, quite tame unless I crack the whip, with a deep rumble cruising and inexpensive.

sfarson.... what a gr8 pic!!!!
wow... i wish i had a 96inch or bigger. cant do anything w/ it on this island but would be nice to have...
i roll v&h stepped drag pipes on mine. i think theyre discustingly loud. im not complaining. although it prolly would be annoying on long rides. not that there long rides on this island. lol!
they definately draw attention both good and bad. if you have strict noise restrictions where you ride you might have to baffle them.
