Loudest & Deepest Duals or Slip-on's
#11
Just to give an opinion on the Rinehart slipons VS the V&H basic slipons. My last 2 touring bikes I had the V&H basic slipons, great pipes and always liked them. For the 09 Ultra I chose Rinehart slipons because I had always wanted a set, they look good on a Vivid Black bike and just wanted something different. Right now, the V&H basic slipons were louder and very deep but everyone tells me after I have had the Rineharts on for awhile they will get louder. Don't matter, they are fine like they are, although I did feel like I needed to modify the mounting system to give a comfort space between the axle nut and the mufflers. See pics below. I added a set of chrome 5/8" spacers on each side.

I've never heard anything deeper than Cary Fass Racing [CFR] slip on mufflers. They may not be the loudest but I don't see how any can be deeper. You will know them when you hear them

The exhausts made by BUB/Rinehart are second to none. Excellent quality, tone, and worth every penny.

Nice thing about Rineharts you can be quiet when you want, they are pretty tame at low RMP, IMO, crack 'em they are a little loud, with the way things are going 3 yrs from now, you won't have this decision.

Rineharts rule!! True Duals that is. I have straight drags on my other bike with no baffles. When I bought the ultra I went with the Rinehart TD. They are louder than I wanted but they do sound nice. Like posted before if you are easy with the right wrist they can be rather tame ( cruisin by the PO PO's) but you twist it and holy sheet they bark! Course some of that might be from the 110 too Fit and finish is awesome. Would I buy them again ....Hell yea.

My Screamin Eagle II's with the Big City Thunder, Thunder Monster baffles satisfy my need to set off car alarms at will!!! I'm still deciding on pipes, but these work for me for now....

I put on the bub 7's and they sound great!! You can see all the way through them. They are loud but I plan on installing the non-Cali stock head pipes to get rid of the cat and keep the nice crossover design from the factory. This should make them even louder and flow much better.
