American Motorcycle Tire came highly recommended to me by satisfied customers. I'm happy to say that I am a satisfied customer as well. I would not be too concerned about them pulling any fast ones or selling shoddy goods.

I went ahead with my order for new tires and i'll check them out when they arrive. AMT did answer all of my emails but it's kind of hard to trust a company you can't call. I guess we will see how it goes. Thanks for the comments everyone

I received the tires today from American Motorcycle Tire. The front was less than a year old but the rear is about two years old already. The DOT is 0707 which makes it about two years old. I hope I don't have any problems with it.

Two years is no biggie, but in your case, that's 5 months away. It's when they get out towards 3-4 years I would have to question WHY.

I bought a new rear tire from them last summer, and I just checked the date and it was made in early April. Tire was about 2 months old when I recieved it. (Avon 150/80V/16)

I bought a tire from them in '06?!?! Damn I need to ride more. Got 11K miles on it and it still looks pretty good...need to burn it off this summer I think. Hope it wasn't too old when I bought it. I'll have to look into that age thing one of these days when we thaw a little bit.
