I went for a ride with a mate on the weekend.

We own river property and camp there every year.The best thing is we are totally alone,except for a canoe or two and that is hardly ever.Life is good!

The spot in the photos is about a 500 mile round trip from my place, but it's well and truly worth it. Some of the folks there for the weekend ( Australia day long weekend ) have been coming to this spot every year since 1983.

That is a great place then(those things creep me out).We are in the midst of our winter up here(I'm watching it snow right now) so I'm glad you are having fun,I'm with you in spirit though.
