Default riding in Arizona...

Well maybe I'm a bit biased since I reside here, but everytime I get on the bike and ride around Arizona I love it even more. We can ride in the desert, mountains, snow filled mountains, and the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley are all within reach at anytime. Not to mention riding in sunshine with no bugs is huge for me....coming from Minnesota, all I can remember is wind, 3 months of summer, and cleaning my bike of thousands of mosquito's after any ride....

That said, where are your favorite state's to ride??? Any tips from you locals on other cool places to hit here in Arizona? Ride safe...

I also love the desert southwest for the same reasons. No bugs, MILES AND MILES of wide-open country and year around riding.

I took a trip to AZ in October. Loved it. Started in Bullhead on to Williams, Sedona, Jerome, Prescott on to Parker. But "no bugs".....we ran into a swarm of large grasshoppers from Bullhead to Williams. Needless to say, I got pelted pretty good. Even got a fat lip. My buddy next to me was laughing his azz off behind his windshield. I haven't given him a hard time about the wimpshield since.

Have you ever seen "On any Sunday"?
Do you remember the B17 bugs?
If you have ever hit one, you will never forget.

I must agree with you - I have seen many mile in this state and still there is more to see - I would say, just get the map out and go - Superior, Globe, Miami - Tucson, Bisbe - Alpine in the summer - Just about any direction -
Then, you have New Mexico - Good luck

My favorite state to ride in is ARIZONA. Gee, I wonder why. It has everything except the ocean and I can live without that since I would have to live on the Far Left Socialist coast to ride near the ocean. No thank you, I'll just take the mountains and the deserts and all the beautiful scenery in Arizona.
