Default Ridin Boots??

Hey guys and gals.... just lookin for input or suggestions on affordable footwear. I'm currently wearing Bates jump boots with a side zipper. They're comfortable and durable. But I remember how I loved my Corcorans when I was in the Army. That was years ago and my memory may be...ah...bad. Give some input folks. Ridin season is approaching. Geez

I think if you do a search on the forum, there was a thread on this not long ago.
I, for one, LOVE my Dr. Martens.
They are the most comfortable boot I've ever worn & they look great too.

I wear a pair of Alpinestars GTX goretex lined boots. Very comfortable and 100% waterproof.

Geezer, affordable if very open ended? Do you like comfort, looks, waterproof, good warranty and customers service? Ttry www.cruiserworks.com Boots are going on 7 years old and be reconditioned by cruiser works once. Makes them affordable over 7 years!! No need for rain boots.

Danner Desert Acadia's; my boot of choice. Like you, knowing what is a comfortable and durable boot from living in them for years. I figured if I could walk in them from before sunup to after sundown, they'll work for sitting on my a$$ on the bike; and if I should need to take a long walk, well, there they are.

Side note, did some cold weather training at the firing center there back in the 80's. Great little town and some friendly females.

Just drove thru to e-burg today on the way to wenatchee. didn't see any training going on out there today. I've done bivuocs out there in the summer (hotter than hell) and in the winter (colder than a montana gold mine). You're welcome to ride in any time and have a cold one on the back deck.

Another vote for Cruiserworks boots. Can ride or walk in them all day and they're completely waterproof. I'v ridden in the rain for 5 hours and they stayed bone dry
on the inside.

Ive had good luck with Milwaukee boots. Affordable and durable, but need to be treated to make them water repellent. After wearing them, I'll never buy another H-D boot, ever.
