Try Lowa boots ..German special forces issue, totally waterproof(except the desert ones) comfortable and do not need to be worn in. These are used by european military guys often at their own expense ..they are that good!!

Anyone ever try riding barefoot? Seriously. I have trouble with mail order as I have a difficult time with sizing. The couple times I mail ordered I had to exchange because of sizing. I find it more to my advantage to physically try each pair on.

I like Dr. Martens. They are relatively inexpensive at $125 or so and they have an oil resistant sole. I've had mine for 10 years now!

Redwings are excellant boots. I had to have mine special ordered due to my wide feet. Cost $125. Can't beat'em.

I've had a couple pairs of Harley boots, and I swear if there's even one drop of rain on the road, it gets into those boots and soaks my foot. I found a decent pair of boots in a Skechers outlet. They grabbed my eye because they said they were waterproof, and only $50. That was over a year ago, and I still use them all the time, and have never had a wet foot again.

I just bought a pair of Cruiserworks boots... OMG, these are the best boots to wear all day if you need to...my old boots (FXRG) get uncomfortable after more than a few hours... They are not cheap, but IMO, are a great boot....I will love my feet this year!!

Dr Martens for me too. HD boots have to much heel for my 6'5" frame. Plus they weigh a ton.

My Docs weigh a ton!
But they're my faves!
