What he said. Mine are now 7 years old, and am in the process of sending back for rebuild, which costs about a third of new.

They make one model in a narrow width, for those who need that.

I vote is for Crusierworks. Over all best for comfort ,waterproof, long lasting.and resole-able. Feel like slippers right out of the box.

I am a fan of Red Wing 980 Lace-Up Boots.

They are comfortable for walking and/or all day riding. Still, I would not wear them on a serious hike, just as I would not wear my hiking boots for riding.
