Default Badlander Seat

Kicking around the idea of the detachable tour pak kit and a Badlander seat to give my 08 EGC a more custom look for solo cruising. Has any one made these changes and anyone familiar with Harley's Badlander seat, comfort and feel.

Badlander seat is like sitting on a brick!! I bought one this winter...just sent it off to Mean City Cycles to have some mods. Hoping it will have the comfort they say it will when they are done. Great looking seat imo...but you have to be able to ride on it.

I can not speak for the Badlander seat used on the BT's but I can for the Sporster as I have used the leather Badlander for the last 2 years. The seat is quite comfortable for me and while it is relatively thin in terms of padding I have had no problems with it at all. I will however say they are not cushy.

I don't have a Badlander, but I like the look and comfort of the Mustang Daytripper. I run it when I've got the tour pack off my Ultra.

I had a badlander on my Night Train. Looks good but not that comfortable to me any way. I started to feel pain in my butt and lower back about a half hour into the ride.

Got one for my Electra glide that I throw on when I take off the tour pack. Not bad for commuting back and forth to work, but the wife hates it. So 90% of the time the tour pack and regular 2 up seat is on.

Why not make it a solo ride with a HD Brawler seat? IMO

Default Thanks for the feedback

I looked at the Brawler seat but the total solo look just isn't for me. I like the style of
the Badlander and the way it carries back toward the rear fender. That Mustang Daytripper
looks like a possible choice too. Thanks for the feedback all.
