Default Thunderheaders for a 2008 Road King Classic

Looking to change my exhaust on my 2008 Road King Classic. Stationed overseas and havnt had the chance to hear to many other exhausts. I was looking at the the thunderheaders. Vance/Hines ovels sound good also! Has anyone changed their stock exhaust to these or have any other recomondations??? I want my ride to sound deep and rumble. Any help is appreciated..Thanks, Rob M.

Just put the 2 to 1 Thunderheaders on my 05. I had V&H true dual with oval, basic slip-ons and Wild Piggs. None of which even come close to the sound of TH.You want regret the TH,they have a sound all to there on. Very deep rumble, well I guess the cams help a little. They still sound like no other.

If you like somewhat loud and deep you'll like TH's. I had them on m 2000 RKC and was going to put them on m 2008 RKC (and still wish I had now) but the dealer convinced me that Reinharts were the "new TH's". They ain't. They sound okay but they are far from TH's.

Big Pig...Were the thunderheaders you put on your 2000 RCK duels or the 2-1??If so do the duels match the sound of the 2-1s ? I have heard the 2-1 THs and love it. Thanks for the help

I have T/H on my 1999 R.K. they sound great (slip on's) but they pop alot during shifting. If you keep the r.p.m. up they are fine.Had the bike dyno tuned and it still pops.
