The flashers are on my b-day list. A buddy has them and you know when he is thinking of stopping, love it!

Not at all I have one own my SG with Security
They do say not to run the flashers very long due to over heating.

You just need sure to make sure it comes with the "Alarm Compatible Load Equalizer" below

Hopefully, you use your signals before applying your brakes.
My brake lights flash about three-four times before going 'steady'.
If I have to apply my brakes at the same time as I use my turn signal, I
may not be giving enough warning I am turning.
I also using my flashing brake light at a red light. The LEDs flash bright
enough that I hope to annoy/get attention of the person approaching the
intersection.

Hooked a flasher unit to my TourPak brake lights. The normal fender brake light statys solid, but the Tour Pak flashes from side to side. it definatly gets thier attention.

Annoy away..We have enough problems being seenn on our bikes..We need to make sure the cages see us, in any way we can.

I have the headlight modulator (Kisan) and the tailight flasher (BackOff) and they do make a world of difference..if its a choice between not having someone run me over and me lights annoying them ...guess what! they can be annoyed for life!, trust me, I don't mind one bit ..8]

I have the Kury one with the flasher and added the tour pack spoiler with lights. I added another (Back off) and they flash at a different rate and time than the regular brake lights. it really gets their attention.
BTW, I do not have a load equalizer and the security works fine. I did try the load equalizer that came with the Kury and it screwed up the cruise control. Removed it and all is well.

Thanks all for your opinions. I'll be leaving the flasher on. Better to annoy than to not be able to annoy (dead).

FYI - the loan equalizer is only needed if you're running LED's.
