Gotta try em on. I can't buy a helmet by mail. They all fit different. Get DOT rated or Snell is better, IIRC. A DOT half helmet saved my skull in a high speed accident on I20. It was broke in half but my head - it's OK.

They advise wearing a prospective helmet for 45-60 minutes before deciding (I don't disagree). So if you narrow down your choices to three, you'll be sweating in the dealer's property for three hours. How many dealers are agreeable to this I wonder?
