How is the stock stereo system?

what do I need to go with the detachable tourpak (IE sideplates, etc.)?

Where can I buy the little continuation sheet of the stock stripe that connects across the midsection?

and last, how do I put a CB on it?

Top to bottom
1) there's no need to get used to the fairing... if you're looking at the fairing whether a batwing or a sharknose... you've already wrecked

2) except for the fact that you're not pushing the weight of the batwing around there's no difference in slow speed handeling, same rake, same everything

3) yeah, I think you're right

4) Stock is fine... I like mine.. others upgrade.. hog tunes or J&M speakers... it's just "back ground noise" to me I'm riding my bike, if I wanted to listen carefully to each note, I'd be home listening to my stereo... but that's just me

5) your basic "quick connect" hardware... a four point bracket, and reciever

6) I don't know... I've seen them on pictures, they DO tie in the stripes

7) depending on YOU... a complete radio swap out, and a new harness, for a fair amonut of money... or? I just added a J&M handelbar unit. As I alread had everything else I needed I just bought the head unit.. $230. I guess for the unit, antenna, patch cord, and headset, around $500

I brought home my 2008 RG just two weeks ago. Immediately put on two 150 mile rides. If this bike is ugly, I love ugly!

I now have three Harleys. A Dyna (wife's ride), a Deuce (my ride), and a Road Glide (our ride). I regret selling my 1st Harley, and I don't need no more 'grets.

My next bike will not be a Road Glide, 'cause am keeping my 105th anniversary RG. I won't buy another Deuce or Dyna either. Next bike will be some years from now, and must be way different than what I have now.

Yeah, come on guys, we can't have people thinking that the RG is a good bike. They might buy one and we don't want that now, do we? Remember; Road Glides are no good, they're ugly, their ride is down right awful, and people laugh at you as you ride by. Don't buy a Road Glide.

Im a new rider and first time owner and I love my RG. Two big headlights are better than one. Several windscreen options available.
