Harley Road Glide FLTR
#13
My next bike will be a Road Glide with a tour pack. I rode one at a demo event and really liked the handling. I also like the modern look. My WG is far from old school. I have t admit, it took a few turns to get used to the faring not moving.

That kind of talk won't help keep it that way.
We need more of the 'ugly' talk.
HD needs to make a Road Glide Ultra.

Road Glide is next on my list also. Why not be different? I test road them a few times and have been impressed with the handling in curves and wind control. Fugly might be the way to go.

Thanks
Thanks for all the help guys. I apreciate all the advice on how hideous they are. I was at 70% chance of getting one before, now I am at 99%. I just worry about getting used to the fairing. I am used to the Batwing. The best part of the RG is that no one rides them. I have ridden every state along 90, and all the west coast and I hadn't seen one. Wierd part is is that my neighbor down the street is selling one. ironic. So just a couple more questions. . .
Does the faring F you up at slow speeds?
What year did they switch to the electronic throttle (2008 I think, I hate it)?
How is the stock stereo system?
what do I need to go with the detachable tourpak (IE sideplates, etc.)?
Where can I buy the little continuation sheet of the stock stripe that connects across the midsection?
and last, how do I put a CB on it?
Thanks fellas ~Leprechaun
