I hit 2 Deer last winter, 2 weeks apart. Just the Yukon fixed from the first hit and along came deer #2. $5000.00 later for both hits, I was back on the road. I saw plenty of deer on my bike this fall. As mentioned before, watch out for the second deer or more following the first. This time of year they always travel in groups in the northern climates. I also agree, the deer, moose whistle are a waste of money.

D Mac, you'd make a good candidate for "Buck Hunter Award" where Momma works. She is the accountant at Cambridge Collision. Every fall, jus' like the bars, etc, they have a "Big Buck" contest. Only instead of who got the biggest deer, it is, who's deer hit repair bill is the BIGGEST. First prize this year was a 21" HDTV. Went to a guy with a brand new Escalade, over 10Gs for a deer hit. The kid in 2nd place was sorta pizzed. He had 2 rigs in at the same time, but his total was less. But he did get a really nice digital camera.

Maybe Obama will give deer liability insurance, so we don't have to eat the cost of hitting one.

Hey, Gump better take that bell back only works on Cows. Definitely different! On the other hand those deer thingy's work just as good as the ultra sonic rodent thingy's for the house. You can always find somebody to write up a bunch of facts for something. Just look at all the cop cars, they aint got any on them.
And where I live in the NW you can find deer on city streets. Never hit one of them but bagged two people and one in a wheel chair!

Here in eastern CT, land that supports the deer population is quickly running out because with the 2 largest casinos in the world, there is building of condos, multi family dwellings all over the place. Farms are being turned into golf courses, and just about every available piece of land is being used up for living space because the the enormous influx of people who work at the casinos, and the quick money to be made by those who are selling this land. To say nothing of the emergency services, schools, hospitals, etc that are being over burdened. Not a pretty sight.
