+1 I'm getting sick of these Holyer than thou posts. We have all made mistakes, some more severe than others. He makes nice bikes and made something of himself. He'll pay dearly for what he did. nuff said...

No doubt a talented bike builder just made a huge mistake.Nothing wrong with having a few ,just do not drive. He is still a human being who really screwed up.He will pay,it has to bother him inside.

You guys keep saying "he will pay". Its been over two years and he is still not in jail. If it was you or me we would be locked up, no bike building, no nothin.

He should be in jail, not building bikes!

this was not his first mistake involving booze and driving, just an average Joe would already be serving a heavy sentence. I agree he is talented and must be above the law.

No, an average Joe would not be serving a heavy sentence and Billy Lane is not above the law, he's just taking advantage of the weak laws and skewed sentencing for drunk driving that is common in the U.S. In Europe, he'd have been in jail for a long time for the first offence.

i am in no way condoning what he did. but if were just 2 average joes and not billy lane involved, i think we would be hearing people say 'ah, just two drunks having at each other, thinning out the gene pool, etc'..... if the guy on the scooter wasn't drunk as well, maybe he would have had quicker reactions and we'd be reading about how some a**clown almost ran him over.... don't know, won't ever know.

he is going to have to answer for what he did. not only in court, but he's gonna feel it everyday of this life, and then be held accountable in the next. be glad it isn't you.

gettin back to his byks, when i went to his shop in fla the other he had about 20 in the car park, i would have taken any ov them home with me. at the time he was filmin 4 bbo, when me & my tribe went in to the shop they asked us to keep quiet as they were filmin but during a break he chatted to us, ask where were from etc, he seemed an ok geezer, as for his hair never judge a book by its cover, but a man will be judged by his deeds it seems.

It must be hard going through life so perfect. I mean to never make a mistake and to never do no wrong so you can sit behind your keyboard and judge others....must be tough.
