If the windshield doesn't help, I recommend a full face helmet.

Goggles are more economical option than a full face. They can be worn with an open face helmet.

I have the opposite problem; my eyes get dry from riding. I bought a pair of Wiley-X wraparound glasses, but they don't help much. On long road trips, I wear a full face lid to protect my eyes.

Goggle work. Just make sure you use some kind of anti-fogging technique on them.

Maybe you and Da Gump are getting too emotional about riding. Stop crying every time you get on your scoot.

I wear cheap goggles or WileyX XLs which are sort of like goggles to keep my contacts from blowing out. I think goggles are your answer and the cheap ones seem to work as well as the pricier ones. Good luck.

And Gump, my eyes have started watering more lately also. Must be related to age, dammit.

Yes, goggles help a lot. I have the same problem with my eyes and almost always wear a full face helmet because of it.

But when I ride in a state that does not require a helmet, I love to take the opportunity to take it off. But then the eyes just can't take it.

I bought a cheap pair of goggles and was amazed how much they helped.

I have tried the glasses with the foam around the edges but for me they don't fit tight enough and still let some air in, which then causes the eyes to water. But like someone said, those glasses are available everywhere. You could try a pair and see how they work for you.

I wear the HD wrap around day/night with foam. They call them goggles, but there just wrap arounds. They are a little pricey, but well worth it! One pair for day and night riding.

What area in Michigan do you live?
Where are YOU at in SE MI?

Seems like theres quite a few metro area guys on here, can't wait to get home and go to school...

OP: I wear oakleys and my eyes water a bit, especially at 80, but thats the price you pay with lookin good haha. I have a full face shoei for long trips...

Talking

Took a beautiful Street Glide for a test ride a few months ago and didn't realize the shorty windshield was so . . . short.
I was quite a sight trying to keep my glasses on as they were jumping uP and dOwN from the wind with the resulting "tears-of-joy" running across my face. LoL.
If the glasses with foam don't work, try a face shield.
