Its to bad that the Politicians and Wacky Liberials are screwing it up. They dont care about the people who come for the vacation, or the business owners who depend on this source of income.

Outer Banks Bike week info:

I dont know where those october dates came from but this year its April 23rd-26th.

We have been going here the last two years, The rally is much smaller that MB but just as much fun. Weather conditions have been mid 70's and clear. There is alot of good riding out to the the light houses (cape haterus). A good amount of vendors and shows spread out across town. All the restaurants and stores were very happy to see us.

We stay at the Seafoam motel, seafoam.com. People there ride bike also and treat us great each year. Right on the beach.

Well, if anybody was unclear about whether they wanted us or not, this should answer it. There are so many cool areas in the coastal Carolinas and Georgia that not going to that entire area is no great loss for me.

+1 on that! Just find a new beach town to go too.

Anyone want to buy a golf bag rack for a Street Glide?

...I knew I should have asked Santa for that chrome latte holder for my handle bars instead.

I'd be interested to know what percentage of yearly revenue is earned during bike week. It cant be that much other wise local business owners would never let this happen.
