I'm tellin ya...a cheap socket and a 1 or 1.5" replacement bolt and some loctite will do ya right up...hell, it'll even blend in with the chrome!

Not to hijack but have you got the Springer front end on yet? Any pics? I have been anxiously awaiting the new mods on the beast.

Lol...not yet...still waiting on powder coat, got a few parts that need to be fabbed up before everything goes together. I WILL however, have some pics of my Indian headlight, my chopped '47 tombstone tail light, and my frisco'd gas tank fab work before the month's end

NOT A PROB. I just reverse the ratchet cover. 1 up, 3 dn. Ol' drag racers trick.

The Cap'n is reversed with ONLY a rear brake.
78 is 'normal', with basically ONLY a front brake. (Guy I bought it from, put on a fancy "WRONG" rear master cylinder.)
ADD to that 'combination', a 56 yr old brain. Do you see a 'small' prob here?
Have never cared for 'heel shifters'. Jus' too much of a cluster f*ck goin' on there, IMFUO.
