I was comparing the Crimson Red Sunglo available on a lot of the 08's versus the Red Hot Sunglo available on the 09's. Is it just me or is the Red Hot Sunglo a little darker and doesn't have as much metallic? Most of the people I talk to about it swear it's the same color, just a different name. So, do you see a difference or not?

 

I've seen both and notice a difference. I like the 2009 version better.

 

I think the 09 color is a little brighter/less maroon. It seems like it has a little less metal flake too. Both beautiful colors in my opinion.

I'm color-blind so maybe that's why I can't see the subtle difference and that
may be why I prefer the crimson over the red hot.

 

Riding buddy has 08/ FLHX in Sunglow,yes I agree it is lighter with more gold fleck than the 09/Sunglow...............

 

In 2010 they'll make a two-tone CRS and RHS...ya think? :-)

 

I have an 08 up against an 09 Sunglow, the Crimson is definately darker, and the Sunglow it lighter.

 

ALl I know is that I love my '09 SG in the hot red. Lots of compliments, especially on a sunny day.

 

Both are beautiful colors!!! I wouldn't have any problem whatsoever riding either one up and down Main St. in Daytona during bikeweek this year.
