I am planning on buying a quick-release windshield for my '05 FXDCI, and I wanted to get some opinions on clear vs. lightly smoked options. What say you?

I just got my Wind Vest in yesterday with the tint,installed it last nite and rode for a coupla hours in the dark.I'm thinking I would like the clear better for nite riding,visibility immediately in front of the bike is restricted just enough to be bothersome when you glance down thru the wind screen. Haven't ridden in the daytime with it yet,probably would be better for daytime riding.

I have a low profile lightly smoked HD windshield. I'm happy with it.. day or night... I'm just happy I have the low profile one.

I had the clear one when I first installed the quick release, but I swapped it out for the light smoked low profile and like it better.

 

Clear for me.
