I still have the 8 degree injectors, with a Dyno tuned PC III, everything is working fine. (fingers crossed)

'06 FLTRI, took delivery November '05, going on 2900 miles, all stock w/8 degree injectors (waiting on back ordered exhaust),
zero problems...

It is because you have a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT induction module, as well as the 25 deg injectors.....

Softails/Touring bikes have a 46mm Magnetti-Marelli (Delphi is the ECM) Single Piece construction single Plenum unit with 8 or 25 degree injectors....

Dyna's have a Slightly different construction (IAC and Fuel Rail/Reg location/type) 46mm Magnetti-Marelli Single Piece construction single Plenum unit with 8 or 25 degree injectors....

CVO bikes have a 50 mm Magnetti-Marelli Single Piece construction Single Plenum unit with 25 degree injectors....

I have a 2006 Heritage Classic. I have the 8* injectors.
Runs real nice. The only thing that I have noticed is when you start it up you
have to let it run for a minute or two or else it stall when you try to go.

Finally got my bike back after it's 1000 mi tune up and the 25 degree injectors fix. The starting issue is gone but the surging is still there. Almost everytime I am down shifting for a corner or a stop, I hit 2000 RPM's and the bike lurches forward. It's pretty dangerous considering it's bone stock!!!!

I have had a few problems with a miss when I'm downshifting. I usually blip between downshifts and occasionally it will act as if its not gettin fuel. Brought it in for the 5K service and described the problem and discussed the 8/25 degree issues. The Service manager said since I had the SE Race Tuner that they would be able to adjust it out. [sm=lame.gif] Well when I went to pick it up they couldn't reproduce the problem so they did nothing! [sm=smiley21.gif] Anyway any advice on how to approach the service people would be appreciated, cause I ain't gettin any results.

06 Softail standard w/Stage I, SE aircleaner, V&H bigshot staggard. Bought it 3/2/06 so it's prolly got the 8 degree inj. No problems as of yet with 2000 mi., 1000 with the afore mentioned mods.

I tried to find that part # you mentioned but can't see it from the left side. There is a number visable from the right side but it don't look like a Harley #, it's 25356844.

My 06 ultra would misfire and then take off when cold. If I was pulling out into traffic and it did it Iwould just about go over the handlebars. That is the problem that they change the injectors for. Got the 25 degree inj and they solved that problem. Still stalls once in a while but does not cough thru the ac and try to throw you off. Still runs hot and has lack of power. Put a PCIII on it and it is like night and day. Way better performance. I can tell that it is running rich but it runs cooler and power, power, power. I will get it dyno'd soon. Other things had to happen first. Got a HD Sundowner deep bucket seat this W/E. Trying to get ready for a run to Key West shortly.

'06 Lowrider bone stock with 8 deg injectors. I have had no problems whatsoever. I have rode several days in Feb when it was in the high 30's and never and a problem starting or surging.
I guess I got lucky for once.
