Wern't the 09's re-designed somehow? If I'm not mistaken, I think some of the touring bikes have a re-designed frame, larger rear tire and other changes.
The question is, why didn't YOU know this if you sell Harley's?

Well, I bought new because they offered a great financing plan that I barely feel each month and it didn't tie up any of the savings in my bank account (accesories alone are killing me in that regard - lol). Buying used rarely offers that option.

If you would just go the the Harley Davidson website and click on touring Bikes. The website takes you through all of the 2009 changes in detail.
I for one have owned many makes and models through the years. I like to take 3000 to 4000 miles trips. The changes made to the 2009 touring models set the hook and reeled me in!

Only thing I can figure is maybe he didn't know the history of the bike? Previous owner's care of the bike?
Maintenance record? Who knows? Maybe the dealer offered him a deal he couldn't pass up?

PS---if you go to the Harley website and watch the video for 2009 Touring. The go to the touring model and click on "key features" you will learn waht the 2009's are all about.
