Back when I was a uniform PD I used to run LOTS and it was funny when I caught the young punks that ran all I ever could here them say is "For and old MF you sure do RUN HARD!" That name stuck till I left the PD and even now when I am out on my bike and I still see some that I locked up they still yell "RUNNHRD you MF I'm Kicking your *** some day!!" I've been out of the PD for 8 years and yep they still remember this old fart running them down.

Try to always look on the bright side of things and laugh a hella of alot about life and the journey through it. We're ALL making the same oneway trip, slowdown to enjoy it, stop to help someone who needs it, appreciate those in it.

Life's pretty easy when you actually start livin it!

I was a grunt NCO (0341) in the early 80's. Being a peacetime Marine, we were always training. Part of training involved long periods of waiting for the "word" to come down the pipe. When the "word" finally would come down, it usually sent us into some kind of f*cked up situation - hence Situation Normal All F*cked Up = SNAFU
