I don't have any ideas about any rider training in that area. But, could you talk to my sons about getting me a new black Road King? I want one but I'l just have to go for it myself.

You are a great son. Karma headed your way.

I did! He road the bike about 20 ft. Then I heard the clutch go in, the RPMs, go up and had a mental image of that guy who trashes his new bagger on youtube. He's gotta take the MSF course to ride it on base anyway.

Have him fly down to AZ, spend a day at MSF class and head home. He could do it all in a single day if ya plan it right.

Forgot to mention Abate classes also supply a bike, and upon succesful completion you do not need to take the DMV riding test and is recognised by the MSF.
Let me know if you need more info.

Have some faith in the Ol Man, and by the way could you talk to my son about how you went about this?

Ditto to all the above and I too can't imagine a more wonderful gift a son could give to his father.

And I also agree, if he's ridden in the past I think it'll all come right back to him within just a few miles once he fires up that RK.

OK now THIS is a great idea... Hopefully he can take a trip down to Phoenix and do a course there. Spend a weekend and make it a fun get-away trip.

Props to you. How much riding had your father done yesteryear? I'll be in Oahu in April or May.
