Some expiration dates on products like this have to with MIL Specs.

I got some on my 76 bobber I put on over 20 years ago. Things ain't fallin off so I quess it doesn't expire.

No, it does not go bad after the date(code) on the bottle. You should always shake the bottle before use. You can test it easily on a nut and bolt. Loctite has a "warranty" for their products like most other companies do and the date code tells them when it was produced. I would not want to really trust some that was really old without testing it first.

it wont give you the runs. but it will lock your *** up for a long time.
