Big City Thunder baffles in Samson Fistails?
I have been thinking about putting BCT baffles in my fishies and was wondering if this might give me a tad more power. They are straight pipes. Before I throw down the green I want to see if anyone has done this in the same kind of pipes.
The other options is torque cones, but I would rather just do the baffles for simplicities sake. Is this pointless, should I just save the green and get a dyno (i have a pcIII) and how is this going to affect the sound of my pipes. They are extremely LOUD which is fine by me. Will this quieten them down, or jsut amke them a bit deeper. Thanks...

I put the Monster baffles on a 2004 Yamaha Warrior that was running V&H Big Shots with no baffles. I can say that it was still as loud and deep sounding but did lose some of the raspy sound you sometimes get with straight pipes. The claim is to add back pressure for more torque, my butt dyno couldn't tell a difference but that bike was a beast to begin with. The install was simple and directions were clear.

Do you know what the OD and ID of your pipes are? I had power cones/torque cones in my Samsom, Rip Saws. They were also straight through drag pipes and the bike ran great with that setup. I just couldn't take the sound level of the exhaust.
You can make your own BCT baffles. Read the instructions in the Exhaust section. It is a sticky stating something about drag pipes. There purpose is to give you some back pressure. They don't quiet the exhaust any. BCT now has a quiet baffle, but looking at the picture of them, I can't see how they could quiet the exhaust any.
