Most of the mags suck for me, not enough bike reviews and product reviews. The custom bike section they have there also don't interest me at all.

Two years in a row I've gotten a subscription to American Cycle Magazine.

There's no sexy chicks in it but it's kinda grown on me. They tend to take a lot of common mods step by step with before and after pictures.

For being a pretty young magazing I think it's coma a long way.

That's the same 2 mags I get, and for the same reason you mentioned, they keep it real...I used to enjoy American Iron till all the bikes started looking like OCC clones costing mega $$$...then the editorials started getting preachy about loud pipes and political correctness...not to mention Genevieve Schmidt's column became a rant against anyone who had a pair of *****...if I want preached at, I'll go to church and if I wanted to be bitched at, I'd marry one...

The answer is simple. There are no really great bike mags. They are all suffering from the print media decline. Prices get higher, content gets cut. Just pick one that appeals to you and take the discount subscription for a year.

i think most people now days like to look at bikes (occ) than learn about them. its much easier to bring the bike to the stealership than try your self to fix or add that new mod. i know nothing about mechenics but i have to try myself just to know about my own ride. i know what gets the wife off, i better know my scoot. after all i dont need somone else telling me how to fu** my woman.

Man, you shouldn't hold back so much. Just come out and tell us what's on your mind.

I buy a variety every month, I've had a subscription to Cycle Canada since 1980.
