Every so often you will find the RT 66 shield as wide as the travel lane, stenciled onto the road surface itself.

That's gonna be one of my longer rides into Az. next month. Oatman and beyond.

 

Oatman on Route 66 is a must see. I really enjoyed the Arizona portion of Route 66. The road to and from Oatman is also a lot of fun.

 

Only Illinois so far, but have plans to continue
