I'm a 1st time owner and rider and I am not ashamed to say that I bought a Harley
because of the name... AND because I like the looks of their cruiser line better than
I do any of the others. I agree with those on here that said maybe you should've
bought a metric... a Harley is not for everyone.

I ordered a pizza with peperoni & meat *****. It was delicious. I could have ordered a plain pizza & it would have been easier & faster to eat but I like to enjoy the taste of food as I eat. Thats why I got the perperoni pizza. Now what were you saying about metrics?

This troll is so full of chit. I doubt if he owns or has ever ridden a Harley. He says he only bought a Harley because his wife made him (more or less). The first thing he needs to do is get a set of *****. The second is to quit showing his high school ignorance. Get a friggin' life kid.

I had not owned a bike for about 15 years or so. My last bike was a CB1100F honda which I did several long distance tours with. A couple of years ago, my wife said " why don't we get a bike that we both could take trips on. Being a previous Honda owner in my younger days, I purchased VTX1800, not even looking at other makes. Within 200 miles, I returned it to the dealer, suffering a 3000.00 penalty selling it back to him. It was too top heavy and had no character or soul. Felt like riding a smooth bycycle without the need to pedal. Never did notice the supposed power in the 1800 engine. The next day I was at a HD dealer picking out my first Harley, a 05 EG classic. Ater two days getting familiar with it, my wife and I were off to Sturgis. I am now on my 3rd Harley and loving it.
