Question What do you guys think about Victory motorcycles?

Curious to see how the HD crowd takes in the Victory bikes. From what I can see they are a fairly new company and American made. I saw a few at the bike show and they weren't too bad, never rode one though. The only thing at this point I can't justify is the price tag which is almost the same as HD.

How would riding up to a biker rally on a Victory be taken?

Personally I like em except for the Vision which is butt ugly. I'd gladly make room for a Victory Hammer in my garage to park next to my HD. I've seen plenty of Victory bikes at rallys too.

Ive spoken with quite a few Victory owners and have yet to find someone who is not happy with them. Quite a few of the Marines down here ride them.

American made, a good ride. those that have them are probably happy with them.

Why come on here and ask? About the same as asking that about Hondas or other ricers, IMHO.

Rode a 92C several years back, and I was NOT impressed. Last summer I rode a buddy's new Vegas. Nice bike, plenty of power. They've done their home work and made many improvements over the older models. I like the 8-ball, but for the money, if I were in the market, I would rather have a Night Train.

Overpriced and unproven.I'd be afraid they are out of business before the warranty expired.

Victory has been around long enuff, that it is unlikely they will go out of business "Before your warranty expires". With the exception of the Vision (which is nearly as homely as a Honda Rune), they make some decent looking bikes.

I have a friend who has one. He really likes it. Seems to run well with major issues.

He keeps up with me, and looks pretty cool while doing so...
