The fact is, even though it's liquid cooled, the Hammer is really more similar to the V-rod and the V-rod shreds it in every possible way....including looks. The victory looks somehow incomplete or maybe not all that well thought out. The V-rod looks right in it's proportions.

Someone said that they "don't copy HD" like the japs? Except for that rediculous Vision thing they built, they copied from the japs who copied from HD! LOL

They are definitely queer looking and make the V-Rod look pretty good, now that you mention it. I never thought much about the Victory until this thread and I've thought enough now to last a lifetime.

Lets not kid ourselves, you hardcore "Harley only" need to wise up and realize a Victory will out drag, out corner, and out brake any Harley cruiser, period.

However, Victory is missing that one magical ingredient in a bike... which is the "sound and soul"
I agree...the Hammer is a "performance cruiser" for sure, but it lacks the "sound and soul" of a Harley.

But, I didn't buy a Harley to win drag races and scrape pegs....

I admire your honesty. I didn't buy a Fatboy to win drag races, scrape pegs, or throw me over the bars either. I still love my Harley for what it is. It just so friggin lame the way idiots rag the $hit out of the Victory's and they never even threw a leg over one and spent some time on one. They are an awesome bike to ride (beyond the crappy cornering Hammer)

Does it surprise anybody that a lot of these "Harley" guys are narrow-minded ???

The "queer" statements are really funny..............I'm trying to figure out what makes a Hammer "queer"...... ya think they may have some issues ???

I'm not totally commited to any one brand of ANYTHING... I like to try different products so I can make an educated decision....... unlike some of these guys that have never ridden anything but a Harley..............

I DO know that a METRIC doesn't "CLUNK" when changing gears, though........

And I did go check out the VICTORY and rode one....... I like 'em and was impressed, and could own one..........but ended up getting a DELUXE..............didn't regret it.

Anyway congrats and enjoy.

And Victories have some good looking styles like the Vegas. And made in America probably more so then an HD. I don't know for sure.

Went to the International Motorcycle Show in Novi, MI yesterday. The Victory area was just as busy as the HD. I like the look of some of their bikes.
