Bad lander

To those of you who don't like it. Other than a sundowner what would you prefer ? What other seat has a similar style with better comfort, if there is one ?

I bought one for my FB recently, and am sending it to Mean City Cycles for some modifications..a little memory foam padding, narrowing it up front, pushing me forward from the back...they tell me it will be really comfortable when they're done with it. If I wasn't having this done I don't think I would use it. It feels like you're sitting on a seat made of stone. Got it on Ebay for $100, so another $100 for mods seems reasonable to me to make it what I want.

I got one for my Electra Glide for the stripped down look. I rode on it for about an hour and knew immediately that it was not for me. Sent it to Mean City Cycles for their memory foam upgrade and they made a huge improvement. I think I'll keep it now!!

Can you post a pic of how it looks now?

The vinyl version of the Badlander comes stock on the Night Train. I could ride all day on mine. The only reason I switched was to get a solo seat. I think you'll find most of the people that have issues with the Badlander are "heavier" riders (which I'm not).

My Grandfather sold cars for a living and he used to say "There's an a$$ made for every seat". Seems there's also a seat made for every a$$... Take a look at the Mustang Daytripper. Very similar to the badlander. I run one on my Ultra when momma's not with me. I weigh 360 lbs and I find it very comfortable for long days riding solo.
