Couple years ago a friend of mine used black Rust-Oleum on some chrome acorn bolts...

They still look great, as that Rust-Oleum seems to last a very long time.

Don't understand the point really.
Thought you were getting a Street Bob?
There just ain't no rattle can that will stand up to a good socket or wrench.
Good luck, let us know.

I'd ask a marine (boat) supply type place. They carry aluminum hardware. They often have some black anodized nuts and other hardware. You don't need strength, as you know.

Sweet. I was looking for some of these as well for the mirrors though.

Anybody know what size acorn nut I would need for the stock mirrors?

TIA
Dave
