We usually go but I doubt this year. We usually as well stay at the Riverside and get a room in the $500 range and for another hundred get the personalized parkign space for the bike in front of the door in the shade. Some of our people drive down with trailers and stay accross the street in the RV park which is owned by the same resort. I send the chop with them and have 2 bikes while there. The RV park is party central as well with burn out pits, etc. As for this year, things need to get better or we need to win the lotto to go...LOL...

BTW, Frankjake - don't go to Street Vibrations in August, because it's in late September. See you then.
Remember go SLOW through Searchlight on the way from LV...

We're thinking about going. It would be my first rally on a Harley. I've gone to a couple on my Buell and one on my Yammy. I'm looking forward to it. Just hoping to get decent weather over the moutain passes on the way! Hope to see some of you there!

Most vendors in the past have always been set up by monday morning so going on the 22nd wednesday they should all be up and running. If you just want to see the vendors going monday and tuesday has always been the cheaper route to take as the hotels and motels don't raise their rates until wednesday. We've stayed in Laughlin monday and tuesday for around $35 a night and left on wednesday evening for Vegas to avoid the $200 rip.

I'm headed there and stay at my oldest son's house in Vegas. I have to trailer my bike to Vegas because my wife is coming and she doesn't ride. She will set pool side while my son and I ride to Laughlin.

The only decision I have is to take the 07 Softail Custom or the XR1200 which won't be broke in by then.

That sounds good! I'll be heading over the Rockies though. We're still getting snow here in CO in April! So far this winter has been pretty mild, so that makes me think the "spring" snows are gonna be the worst. I'm just crossing my fingers that the weather will hold up at that time.
