Default Bell Drifter Helmet. Anyone got one?

I was looking around the net for a new half-helmet. I wanted something with a "low profile". I like the way the Drifter looks. Anyone got one? How do you like it? How is the "mushroom effect"?

Any other suggestions for the low profile DOT helmet?

I have one. It's OK. The mushroom thing isn't too bad. It does catch wind though, at least on me, and tends to loosen up and move back. I solved that by wearing a doo rag under it.

I used an air tool with a cornering head on it. Spooned the inside out to custom fit my head, then glued the lining back in.

I've got one that is covered in the green canvas. I like it fine - but it is by no means "low profile." I found it to fit snugly, but it is somewhat uncomfortable on longer rides (several hours without taking the helmet off). The helmet is wide enough to make it difficult to wear goggles and have a proper seal, so I had to switch to sunglasses. Some of the nicer features are the removable ear pads and insulation. When it was chilly, the pads did a great job of keeping my ears warm. Same with the rest of my noggin (there is quite a bit of padding compared to other helmets I have worn). The padding is what puts the squeeze on you after a while, though, which is somewhat uncomfortable.

I have a second half helmet, DOT approved, that is less bulky and more comfortable for the long haul, made by HCI. I don't know the model name, though. I like the Drifter for casual riding, to and from work and such. However, since I like to do a lot of long stretches of riding in my free time, I have to have the HCI.
