Hauling bike on a trailer??

RE: Hauling bike on a trailer??
Dee Zee makes a nice 5X8 trailer. This is the same company that makes running boards for trucks. Trailer can hold up to 2500 pounds, two bikes if positioned right and weighs only 450 pounds all aluminum. It also has torsion bar suspension which is better then springs makes the trailer follow the road instead of bouncing. Had mine since 2001, probably used 10 tens more as utility trailer for sheetrock etc., but sure was nice to have to pick up a bike a or two.

Hondaherb, I have to agree that a toy hauler would be the best plan but have you looked at the floor plans of toy haulers. I have looked at just about a ton and all of the ones I have looked at were not as plush as any standard fifth wheel unless you get a unit that is extremely large. I for one have a 32 ft fifth wheel that I and I cant go any larger without also buying a larger more expensive truck to pull it. And also with the cost of fuel today if you try and sell your unit it is hard to find a buyer. The market is really bad for campers because of it. But a I agree a nicely designed toy hauler would make it a hell of a lot easier though.
