As some here have vaguely eluded to... it's all in the ventilation.
Your shop/garage needs ventilation. You don't need to buy trinkets that suck up moisture, let the air do it... it's free.

What can I do to keep this from happening? Putting a cover on it does not seem to help (maybe it's too loose?) What about putting carpet underneath it? Any thoughts would be appreciated. BTW, I live near Austin, TX in case that helps.
Yea I hear ya, I live south of A town myself and over the last few days it's been nasty wet early in mornings here to.
I just keep a small fan running on low out in the garage on high humid nights, but with the weather we have here in Tejas it changes all the time......LOL!
Hell Ill fire up the heater tonight.

Well, if you like rusty chrome in the spring just let it sit there and be damp. 25 grand tied up in a bike is a big chunk of my net worth, and I for one prefer to take care of it.

I have a HD cotton indoor storage cover over my bike in an un-heated (but very dry) garage. After reading this thread this morning checked my condensation status and yep, moisture everywhere on bike under high $$ cover.

Took a fan from storage and placed under bike for air circulation before I left for work today. I'll check it out in a few hours and see if this took care of problem.

I went out this morning and my bike was soaked. So was everything in my garage. All I did was leave the doors open all day. Thinking about a cover, but I would rather it off on a day like today.

When I lived up north had same problem and had a fan with a timer to come on at night time to move air around shut off around 10am. Solved the problem for me.
