I know this post goes back a ways, but it helped save me a trip to the dealer! Just goes to show you that there are some great contributors to the forum and that the search function works! Thanks a million! I appreciate it!

Do you think these troubleshooting codes apply to an '09 Ultra Classic?
I had a problem this morning when I was getting ready to take off on a ride.

At first the bike wouldn't start the first time. The check engine light went out like it normally does. I turn the ignition off for a few seconds and then back on, waited for the check engine light to go off and it fired right up. I went for a short ride and about 5 miles down the road the check engine light came on for about 20 seconds and then went off but the engine continued to run ok.

I looked in my H-D service manual and can’t fine any troubleshooting codes or how to access the troubleshooting information.

Any help will be appreciated.

I don't see this listed in the trouble codes, anyone know what this is?

Thanks
I have just been going through this process to troubleshoot a DTC associated w/the Smart Security system. I also thought the first digit was a "6", but I think it's a lower case "b" - so your code (from the table above) would be:

B1155 Neutral Switch Input Short to Battery

Hope this helps.

Here's a link to the '07 - '09 codes from the HD Talking forum:

The list hasn't changed much if any at all unless you have a 2010 or newer
