Should I assump that if no codes are sent that you don't see the 'diag' initial screen on the speedo?

What does this mean?.

Sorry, but the above DTC list and procedure applies to newer model ICM/ECM bikes, starting in I believe 2004.

I have a 99 FLHRCI and have the older diagnostic codes and the last position is Cal 03 - does anyone have the translation of the 10 diagnostic codes?
Appreciate everyone's input.

Hi - gread thread. I have a dead '04 FXDWG - will turn over but no spark. Suspected bad ICM. Ran diagnostic and the code was "no rsp" - does this mean a short, dead ICM, or both? Thanks in advance.

You might want to thoroughly reread the OP to make sure you are checking all groups of codes.

This is in the OP instructions:
"On models not equipped with a tachometer "No Rsp" will appear when the tachometer identifier is selected."
"No Rsp" will also appear if the run/off switch is in the off position when doing this procedure."

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I will never need it but we all know that's highly unlikely.

What does it mean when the speedo digital display says "no CAL" and Speedo does Not go in to diag mode at all? This is on an 07 XL1200C. This code ('no CAL') is not mentioned in this thread.
