I got one of these for Christmas a few years ago. It has almost everything I have needed aside from basic hand tools. For me, the size keeps me from over tightening and it has a wide assortment of bits. I wouldn't do without it.

Forget the 10mm wrench. It's only used for the battery terminals. Take the bolts out of the battery and file, sand, or grind em a little so they fit a 3/8" wrench, its very close. Then every time you replace a battery, swap them out. Been swapping mine for a few batteries over the years.

Snap Ring pliers & Impact wrench are very good tips.

The problem with them is that if you snap the ball off there a pain in the a$$ to get out of the bolt head.

but there are quite a few metric fasteners on your bike. if you have only sae tools, you're not gonna be a happy camper. you don't need an extensive set, but you do need a few

I agree about making sure you get a T27 and T30 torx and get high quality! I broke 2 T27's b/c they were cheap. Go crafts or Snapon or similar.

I have 3 sets of Torx,Lisle,Craftsman and SnapOn.
Some of the lisle's are twisted, the Craftsman are ok and the the SnapOn's were damn expensive!

The best thing to do with Torx head bolts is replace them with quality chrome fasteners from H-D and throw them away.

External torx can be reused but those that the bit goes into aren't worth the metal they are made of.

Obviously, you haven't done much wrenching on a Harley.
