does anyone wear goggles??

I wear goggles because my sunglasses always feel like they're going to blow off. I started off with some relatively expensive aviators. They're some french name that I can't remember right now. I like the way they fit and the way they look and they have interchangeable lenses. But they were way too expensive, and the lenses are too hard to change to do it everytime the sun goes down. Last summer, I bought the foldable Harley goggles at my local shop. I don't generally recommend the overpriced shop stuff, but I've been happy with these goggles. They give good protection, and they fold up and fit in a nice little bag that fits in my glove box on the Road Glide. I think that they cost around $35. After a couple of months, I went back and got the clear ones for night riding. When it's love bug season here in northeast Florida, eyeware fashion isn't nearly as important as protection. Later.

I wear goggles because they cut out all of the wind from my eyes. I bought mine from a leather shop off their rack. Cost was about 15 bucks. Best 15 spent in a long time. I have the tinted and clear for day and night riding. Here is a pic of me suited up in cold weather gear. They also keep your eyes a lot warmer as well.

Classic Goggles. They are not cheap, but they were worth every penny to me. With contact lenses, I've tried everything and nothing has has worked as well.

For 'average' conditions, we buy Igoggs. Get them at Holiday, etc. I think like 8 or 9 a pair. Come in dark, clear, and amber (not interchangeable lens) They get scratched, etc, toss 'em, new pair.
For 'cold' weather riding, I have a pair of Red Baron goggles. The Igoggs have vent holes next to the lens, and let in too much cold air. (Eyes water)

I buy the cheap ones at the rallys. They get scratched so I don't feel bad throwin the cheapos away ! there are several styles I try to find ones with very small vent holes on the sides and a slightly higher bridge across the nose. Try a few on and see what fits. IMHO the cheap ones are fine. Kinda like buyin a pair of Oakleys and gettin em scratched. much less painful when they are cheapo!

Anyone make a decent set of goggles that can handle a perscription? I don't do contacts anymore, long story, and so I am always on the lookout for a good perscription solution.
Thanks
