I'm getting the fatty repainted by Harley's custom shop and I like the dark blue pearl paint with no pinstriping, I am also thinking about not doing a decal but a badge instead and I really like that night train badge. I love the way it looks on the black tank, I just hope it looks okay on that dark blue pearl...thoughts?

I like the night train badge too. I think it would look fine on a dark blue bike. But if not I am sure someone would take them off your hands.

 

I have them on my Fat Bob and they look awesome... Way better than the letter opener they put on it from the factory

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I want it to look unique but I've decided I just don't trust anyone except the factory to paint my bike..

I guess one of the things I really like is that the badge has skulls in the background that reflect with the light and my bike has a lot of the skull collection accessories. I just hope it looks nice on that paint. I keep waivering back and forth on dark blue pearl and vivid black but I want it to stand out and there are a lot of black bikes out there.
My thought process is that a solid dark blue pearl with the night train badge on an 02 Fat Boy will be kind of a eye catcher for anyone who knows Harleys.

 

I've decided to go with the vivid black instead. I know that will look great. It will be just like a night train scheme but on an 02 fatty.... kind of a cool idea in my head anyway...
