I want to get a 09 Black Road King but at $21K that is what I can get a new one with some chrome thrown in.

i dont see a problem just because a baby is in the picture. what the bike got to go give me a break. i had kid's and bike's you do what it takes to keep the bike. if you got to work two or three job's then that is what you do.

 

He better keep the bike,he will need it to keep his sanity very shortly!!

With that asking price he will still have that bike when his daughter goes of to college.

The whole time I was looking for a new bike it was "I just bought a house" or "I just had a baby" price is firm, no low *****. You've got guys selling 2000 RK with 30k miles for 14,500 and its not negotiable...right. Then you've got the guys who just bought brand new and are now upside down trying to get a full pay off for the bike when they sell.

 

You see, here is the difference between someone who really loves riding, and someone who just likes it.

I know someone who used to ride until he met his wife. Now their son is 12 and he's saying "I can't wait until the boy finishes college so I can get my bike." He says "they're too dangerous, I'm a responsible parent, blah blah blah"

I just tell him to keep making excuses, one day you'll either run out of excuses or run out of time.
