Looking at what I have on my scooter, Would there be much benefit to a programmable ignition? What's the next pwr addr (low cost) i should consider w/o sacraficing reliability?

 

i would imagine you would want a good ignition set up with juice...i have two of my cars on da bottle and run Mega-Squirt (programmable ignition and 16 table fuel map)

 

Not focusing on the NOS. Just the motor. But can you explain the curves talked about in the progammable ignition.

 

in my cars i have a 2 step rev limiter...one for WOT and one for launching.i also incorporated an EDIS system(Electronic Distribuataorless Ignition System) into it and have knock retard with limp mode so if the system detects knock in the lower end it'll run but you can only "limp" the vehicle home,etc.,i also use a BTM (boost timing module) for electronic advance...the higher the revs the more advance in timing and there's a few other perks,too.ummm,i'm not too familiar with the HD ignition,ya may wanna check out the appropriate secion here at HDF.

research it and then make yer decision
