Question Daytona Bike Week 2009

Hey I'm looking for a place stay in the Daytona area for 3 or 4 days during bike week anywhere in the 50 mile range. (Perfer Hotel\Condo)
Any suggestions??

Try New Smyrna Beach. I stayed there last year it's a great little oceanside town. About 25 minutes south of Daytona. I stayed at the Oceania Beach Club. Try www.vrbo.com and I would recommend you try and get a place close to Flagler Ave. Good Luck!

You may want to try St. Augustine Beach about 45 minutes north. Very nice and not nearly as crowded. Plenty of Condos to stay at. Flagler Beach is also a good option. Little closer. Say 25 to 30 minutes north of Daytona. Have a good trip.

I'm willing to bet that you can stay anywhere you want this yr as the economy will cause a lot of people not to go in Feb. Going there is a pure luxury that some just wont be able to do. I will be going because I'm not one that goes every yr in fact I only went once.
The reason is I don't like such crowds and when I did go that one time all you could do was parade and over heat.
I live in Atlanta and the best riding is in my back door, however I do come from West Palm and Fl is my home. So I'll go down and hang for a while. I like camping so I'll be looking for a campground down there. Nothing like taking a road trip on the Harley and camping. Love it!
good luck to you and see ya there...

Good luck finding a place. You are starting to look early and that's smart.
I went last year and had a ball but this year I have other vacation plans, (a little closer to home, Maine, and a little less expensive).

I've gotta agree with timbakersr on this one. Attendance is going to be down at all sorts of things in the near future - sports events, theater, and motorcycle rallies. I know the demographics of the typical HD owner probably allows a little more leeway with the "fun money" you need to go to these types of things but I still think numbers are going to be way down.

OK I'll be there 3\4 and you'll need to stock up on Tequila, Sam Adams, good cigars, Steak & Lobster and any women that like to ride and party.
Man you rock! Anybody else want a free room too!

Default Daytona Bike Week

Hey guys. I’ve gone to Bike Week the last few years, and I've had a blast every year. I just hope the weather is good again this year. If you guys are looking for a great place to stay, I highly recommend the Daytona Bahama House. The location is great, and there is always a great crowd. Hope to see you guys.
