Has anyone seen any reflective vests that come in black? I want to buy one for all my riding buddies and all I have found are the obviously safer orange or green vests. I was kind of hoping to find some that are black since most leathers are in black so safety can be cool

i also want something that will fold up nicely in my jacket pocket that will easily go over my jacket.

google wasn't that much help... any ideas or experiences would be awesome!

 

I don't think black is very reflective. Maybe a light black but dark black would't be.

Harley sells an all black vest that is reflective at night. Looks pretty slick.

 

Well, damn they used to. Can't find it now.

 

I got a Fox Creek jacket that had reflective stripes in it. Contact them and see if they could make you the vest.

I knew of some other stuff, but can't find it right now. Just showing you something that looks like anything other than a 'safety' vest type thing, since it seems other people have that big bold stripe stuff covered.

If you want, if you find some leather, or other material, vests you like, maybe you could buy some reflective piping or patch material, and put your own custom stuff on there if you're trying to be different, and cheaper. Have a tailor or someone do it for you, or something.

The thing I liked about the Harley stuff, I have a different jacket, but same concept, it really does look flat black, until it gets hit with light and is reflective.

Think about that though, is reflective enough for you, or do you want to light up like neon from all angles? If neon, then gonna be hard to make that look cool, coz you'll need much larger surface area of bright colored material that is bright AND reflective, not just reflective...
