Winter riding
I know it's not technically Winter yet, but I'm sure nobody will call me a liar for a week. There's always been something about riding in the Winter. Something I've always loved. I remember as a kid in Montana screwing wood screws in the nobby's of my RM 125, then taking off like a bat outa hell knee deep in snow!! Roostertails 20ft in the air!! Anybody else have similar experiences?

I used to ride my YZ 125 in the snow when I was a kid. Lots of fun until you hit an ice patch. The deep stuff was the best because the faster you go, the higher up you ride in it. Never did put wood screws in the knobbies although I knew guys who used to do it and ride on iced over ponds.

I had a 1971 650 Yamaha that I rode to work all winter in West Central Wisconsin, during the winter of 1972/1973. It was my first new bike and I couldn't put it away.
I didn't ride on the days that the roads were snow covered, but I was out and about when the temp was 25 below zero.
It was only two miles to work, and sometimes the Ski Doo snow machine replaced the bike for the trip.

I've never been to Montana.
