My opinion's that it's no different from getting the right tattoo artist. Whether it's a tattoo or custom airbrushing, speaking for myself, I would rather pay a professional to do the work than skimp out and get cheap crap done! I don't think $3000 to start is that bad. The likelihood of it peeling, cracking or falling off would be slim to none if it's professionally done. I have $2000 worth of tattoos and that's nothing really. But I sure as hell wasn't about to bargain shop! If someone did something to my bike and it didn't work out very well, I would be one pissed off mother****er!
