I went from a 2007 Electra Glide Classic to a 2002 Heritage. Liked it a lot, but really missed the touring bike, mostly the stereo. Now I have 2009 Street Glide.

That being said, I wouldn't mind having a Crossbones in the garage too.

Just wish I could have both, but don't have the $$!

So, once you go bagger you never go back? I would think one would miss having a "lighter" Dyna or Softail for bike nights and around town.

Default Good question

I've been mulling over selling the Dyna LR to get a bagger lately. Wonder if anyone has regrets for making that same move. I plan on renting a bagger for a day before I do anything though.

I have both,

A 2003 FXD and a 2004 FLTR,

For just the reasons you mentioned,

One for touring with the wife onboard, the other, my personalized Dyna for solo cruising,

I love my Ultra, but would like to either chop another Sporty or Panhead for around town rides. On the road and going to work every day the bagger can't be beat, but around town running errands or visiting my buds a "play" bike would be nice.
